Holy crap, that's awesome work, Slam. I had to throw my vote your way for that piece.

I went with Jaguar because he put clouds in based on my recommendation even though he didn't want to. J/K. Kind of.
Really, though, i voted jaguar because it's a finished piece. SLAM, yours is pretty awesome, lots of atmosphere, but it still looks unfinished. Great job to both of you!

Great work guys! This was very tough, but the level of detail and atmosphere won me over slightly with Slams!

I really enjoyed the color scheme a lot more in Slam's than in Jaguar's. It really catches my eye and holds my attention. The use of cool and warm colors and reflective light shows a larger level of complexity, so it got my vote.
I do like Jaguar's as well, dynamic sense of action is a plus!

Agreed, I have to learn how to really finish a piece, then again I just had too much fun with it to wreck the fun finishing it in detail :D Anyway I love these duels, it's great to see how diverse the solutions are.

Yeah man this was definitely a blast to work on, and I loved the topic. I went the bad action movie poster route, because I wanted to somehow shoehorn "Terminal Velocity" in there. At this point, I'm just hoping to avoid the KO. ;) Seriously, though slam, you did an awesome job on yours. The colors really set the mood well.

I really liked Slam's rendering and design, but I loved jaguar's story telling and idea.
Also, there were a few things in slam's that put me off like the poles weren't in the same perspective and the girl's hair and legs were under rendered compared to the rest of the piece.
