When you can see the sketchiness of the pencils, like on Jim and the cows, I don't consider the pencils finished. In comics, there's a difference between tight pencils and not-so-tight pencils; breakdowns, pencils, and finished pencils.

yup I know and thanks for that, however as for the pencils, this is pretty much where I can go before it starts looking worse this is like my pre over doing it stage when it comes to pencils. I'm really terrible with them.

I had to think about who to vote for a second there.
Trashart: Your piece has lots of character and on first glance really does it for it, but looking at it a bit longer you see that the hands aren't really done properly. I doesn't seem like there's any trigger to pull...and the elbows look a bit strange too. Nice enough piece though, love the character and dynamic of it.
TK: It's a lovely drawing and there's lots of characters and stuff, making it interesting to look at. A few things in the composition that bother though:All the characters are lined up at the same level, facing forward. All the flying cows seem to be in the background, which doesn't make it come across that well that Jim is firing at one, you should've drawn one cow flying in at the foreground aswell. (crewate extra depth) And even though you wanted him to fire at the cow nonchalant without looking, I think it would'v been cooler if he faced the cow firing with two hands or even looking up at it. Not a case breaker, but things to concider.

PFT! Jims too cool to look at things while fiering waaay too cool :O, beyond that like I told Loston wallace earlier in the other thread, I did intend to add the cows in the foreground and middleground aswell just not in this stage because I wasn't willing to risk permanently ruining one of the characters for the sake of debth when theres a duel to be had. I'd much rather do it in photoshop later.

way to go, tele. you're really stepping it up, and the fact that you do so many draw-offs and still manage to turn out strong pieces amazes me.

theash - yours looks really good, too, but i had to go with tele based on the background and other characters.
