Really? Sweetness! Thanks, man. My current personal art goal is to experiment with slightly different approaches to my comic art. I felt very discouraged until your compliment.

As I've said before, I'm a huge fan of your work, and this piece is no exception. It is a great honor to get smashed in a PSF by you, much less receive that compliment. Thank you.

both very strong pieces, ENTITY yours loses out in the face, there's not enough feminity in it. Maybe fix up the eyes with some eyelashes? Otherwise spot on.
MANJI: Awesome, so soft, so natural.

Really close on this one. In the end it came down to which piece had the better anatomy, and with that in mind, I've gotta go with Manji, who's just getting better and better at drawing women.

ENTITY really brought it on this one though. I absolutely love the rendering - I don't know what kind of pencil you used there, but there are some brilliant areas that almost look like inkwash.

I'm having a hard time deciding with this one though, because Entity really stepped up. It will be interesting to see you develop this style.

I really didn't wanna vote here.

I'm going to end up giving it to Manji, but i think with only a few tweaks on some of the body lines and such i'd easily be giving it to Entity.

Agreed, this was a tough one. I had to go with Manji, though, that face is beautiful. Great work, though, Entity, you're really coming along, as evidenced by how close the poll is.

Entity really did his thing here, its a tough call.

I think enitity, only suffers at the face, which is tricky because im assuming shes in diamond/ice form or whatever, but i still think you got to find a way to make her look pretty even if shes got a jagged diamond face.

Whereas manji. i think the face is really good, but the body seems a little uninspired kind of just there.

hmm on final deal im gonna have to go with entity, his pic seems to be telling you more, and pretty good uses of shade in it.

I greatly appreciate your comment! Currently playing around with my styles of drawing. I began with a 6B graphic pencil to lay out and establish an overall dark tone. Then I essentially used an eraser as a base rendering tool, then a 3B pencil to establish some range, then an HB for tightening it up, then finally a 2H mechanical pencil I usually draw with to create the detail lines. Plus lots of smudging, accidental and intentional. Hahahaha The paper was some random piece of thin and rough sketch paper I had in a drawer. It was a fun experiment, although frustrating at times for me.

Thank you! Attempting a diamond effect, and light source is exactly what I was really struggling with; and the face was a major headache. I had many more lines in there, but it wreaked havoc in making her look aged, so I ended up just erasing most the lines due to time limitation and confusion. I will probably try to fix this issue with the drawing later.
