Damn both are wicked but i like the action on Hades a bit better but the background on Keith's' is awesome too!

Okay ... I GOTTA say this is an AMAZING match .... totally off the hook. I had to go with Hades on this one ... just love the rendering of this piece ... but I mean NO insult to Keith ... that is a damn fine piece. Though I gotta admit ... I would have loved to see a Mortal Kombat piece from you Keith.

Both great pieces some of the best I have seen from either of you. Went with Keith just because I like the cleaner look a little more. Totally subjective but basically it's the same reason I'm not a Mark Teixeira fan.

had to go with keef. hades piece (although well drawn) is a tad overworked with little line variation - things are getting a lil muddy and none of the figures are popping. on the otherhand, keith kept it pretty clean and used a really nice light hatching technique for texture. the spraypaint helps to give some extra energy to the diagonal composition, too. however, his rails look flat.

I disagree with Shawny on HadesIllo, the Halo dude (double guns blazing) is popping to me and there is a lot of great composition here as well. Kieth's is wicked good too. Great job guys, I will have to go with a coin flip here.

Little bit of a change of pace rendering wise from Keith. It works but it took me by surprise.

What's odd, is that Alex's piece has more of the rendering that I come to expect from a Keith piece.

Disagree with Manji with the Texiera comparison. Tex has a much more sketchy style with stray lines all over the place. Alex's rendering is really clean, there's just a lot of it.

This is pretty epic though, have no idea who I'll vote for yet.

Both are strong pieces. I like Keith's style on this piece, it's fun and playful. Defenitly would look good with some nice colors. Hades piece is also nice. I voted for him because of the action in it is nice, as well as the rendering. The exploding car and the guy jumping while firing. That's some nice comicbook action.

Hades' piece is great. i feel he should be inking his stuff. i think this piece especially would benefit from that. and i love the composition.

WOW! This is a really tough one to vote on. Man these are both amazing. I had to go with Keith, but both could have easily taken this one. I just loved the movement in his piece, though. It was right in your face, whipping by.

Wow. This one is pretty much an equal bout. This is really nice to see--two skilled artist with equally good pieces. In the end, Keith's piece got my vote, but my cursor loomed over the Hades button for several minutes. I don't think you can go wrong voting for either piece. Nicely done, guys!

I've avoided leaving a comment here because I really wanted the art to win votes, not some sappy diatribe, but I have to say that I'm happy I could provide a worthy challenge for Keith. I knew anything he put forth would kick some serious @$$ and his piece completely took me off guard. I was shocked at the mild rendering, as Bovey pointed out, and it works so well - a really beautiful piece. I see several areas where my piece could be improved now, but I'm pleased with how it's been holding up against Keith's phenomenal work. Thank you all for the votes and comments. :)

Kieth gets my vote for best execution. Though I think he'd be well-served to flip the entire composition so that the eye follows the action left-to-right, I think his image is easier to read and has a better sense of motion.
