I really like Jared's piece, the coloring i'm sorry to say spoils it a bit. Just a little too wispy.

Nick's is nice and solid.

I'm having a difficult time judging this one.

Jared has some strange anatomical things going on in there, and the colors are a bit sloppy. It does tell a nice story though which Nick's is lacking.

While in the 2nd piece I feel It's a little too much Joe Mad influence and not enough Nick. The inks are really nice though and it doesn't seem to have any glaring flaws.

So that's my vote.

Gotta go for Jared on this one ... there are some issues ... but it is a nice looking piece.

Nick I really do like your piece ... and I do know it is an homage piece ... but it is just to close to the original IMHO.

Gotta go with NickGuy. It's a solid piece. I'm a firm believer of the quote in my signature and feel that Jared's time may have been better served trying to fix some drawing issues rather than trying to lay in some quick colors. Good job to both though. It's all about participation, moving forward, and growing with each piece you produce.

Jared's colors threw me. Basically, Plog alread wrote what I'm thinking, so, ditto. Nick gets my vote.

Commencing completely amateur critique:

Jared's female- her left shoulder bugged me. First glance, I thought it was a third boob. Nickguy- the inking seemed a little... inconsistent?

Anyway, enough of my crap. Applause to both of you.
