Stuff like this either gets posted on the bulletin board or in one of the lab sections if you're looking for critiques. Not in the break room.

that is a very cool looking Lord Jesus Christ--excellent job! A word of caution though, there are purists who may not be so open as to the hommage. I consider myself extremely liberal when it comes to religion, however, when I read the Ramayana 2099 I wasn't too happy with several things that was done with the work--I felt that while Deepak Chopra states he wants to create an awareness for the Ramayan it seemed to be more of an exploitation, he didn't need to tell the tale using Hindu Gods, Deities and Demons from the original and could have created something else!

I thought Chopra would do the original justice and I looked forward to seeing what he had, but was disappointed in some ways and think that the work should not have been tampered with! Chopra's India Authentic, however, for the most part is well written but there is one tale that I totally disagree with in terms of the main character's portrayal and that is Parshuram (Warrior Saint). There are several volumes of India Authentic but I can't remember which one the tale falls in. But getting back to Lord Jesus and any religious tributes, there will always be those people who won't like the original portrayals to be tampered with so when people do so they will always be walking a fine line--but what you have hasn't (as far as I'm concerned) crossed it--well done!

Happy Easter everyone!

with warmest regards,

Samir.
