Well, I might as well be the first to jump in. I thought M&O would be the most challenging, so here's a ball-point pen WIP of the hairy half of the team:

Okay I said it would be late, but I'm still participating none the less. This piece fell short of what I really wanted to get done. I liked the practice with the brush pen, but my regular pen ran out of ink and I used this new board a friend gave me a whole bunch of. Well they suck for inks- it bled all over, but I finished it none the less. I tried to do the backround effect like I see in a lot of Art Adams stuff- kinda a hint twards him.

Came out pretty well, hydekomiksink. You might not be the most skilled inker in the world when it comes to line control and so forth, but those things will fall into place given enough practice on your part. I think you managed to elevate the image in the inking, solidifying the overall drawing. Looks to me like you're right on track. Good work!
Do you have a copy of Gary Martin's THE ART OF COMIC BOOK INKING? I highly recommend that book.
