i like the T shape the most. it fits into so many more places than a lot of the others. and the I block is only nice when you have the rest of the board ready for it. my least favorite block is the square O block; it shows up when i least need it.

Not likely, it would probably go down something like this.
Contestant 1: "Classic games for $200, Alex."
Alec: "Its Alec... In this 1985 puzzle game, achieving a straight horizontal line of these gets you points."
Contestant 1: "What are teradactyls?"
Alec: "No, I'm sorry, what are tetraminos. Tetraminos is what we were looking for."
Contestant 1: "*sigh* "Dang, I was so close, Alex."

You get the terrible wording award. Anyways, I FTW!

I like the versatility of a T shape, though the I can get you lots of points. they are still blocks though

I've been hooked on Tetris since the day I bought my very first Gameboy.
My favorite is the "T". I like the "I" but I love the "T".

Any good tetris player knows the "T" is where it's at.

What I like to do is build up four lines of blocks with a one-block space on either the left or right side, enough for an I piece. If you clear four lines at once you get a lot of points. So I just do that over and over.

Unfortunately, I have the luck that when I try that, an "I" will never come along. So I end up having to break it down with some "T's" and that's why I love the "T".
The “I” is this guy's favorite too. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jwC544Z37qo)
