I always had trouble drawing torsos/hips so I decided to try drawing them anyways(I wasn't really focusing on the boobs thats why they suck:p ).

Hmmm.. I should start using references because I did all but the muscle sketch without any.

Hey Metalo
I like the studies ... do you mind if I ask who your influences are artisitically ... and if you know what genra you would like to be moving towards ... e.g. Manga vs Jim Lee.
Again great work

Hello Metalomaniac,
I would suggest you start doing more observational drawings. Life studies from life, not pictures. At the moment, it looks like you are trying steer your style towards anime, which in itself is not a problem. But working towards a 'style' is a bit premature for you. You are trying to run before you can walk.
Build up strong foundations: good skills thats will support what you want to do. Once you have a solid understanding of the subject matter, the style will come. Push yourself out of the comfort zone and your skills will grow.

Influences huh? Well that's a bit of a tough one to answer to tell the truth. The only influences I can think of is Xia Taptara's stuff from idrawgirls.com, I recently found his site through his youtube account and I liked his stuff, he has alot of nice little tutorials there. Before him was Akira Toriyama, which I'm no longer a fan of that style.
The genra I want to go for is a mangaesque style like Inkthinker's which I'm a fan of and Influenced by.
I hope that answers your questions, and thanks for the comment. :)

The anime stuff is more or less just old habits since it was the last style I used to draw in. The last piece I did(the side view one)was an atempt of drawing a non stylized piece(for the most part). If that's what you mean I'll try doing more like it.

You need to draw from a structure or the results will always be wonky. Sketch out the underlying structure and build on that. No building ever built didn't have a support structure.

I'll try doing that from now on then, thanks for the tip. :)

I decided to do another back view but using an understructure this time, I hope it came out better then the 1st backview. I should probabaly do legs and feet next time since I'm having a bit of trouble with them, among other things.
