Been having some scanner and Photoshop problems recently, PS froze when I tried to start up the scanning thingy, but it's solved for now, so here's an update for the Supes sketch.

Well these are some nice pieces ... their area couple of anatomy issues here and there ... I would have to say mainly in the neck. I have to say though I love your clean line work and your deep blacks really pop your characters. Awesome stuff ... I will be lurking around your thread. Keep it up m8.

..but my scanner was. So I finally scraped up enough cash to by a new one. Still trying to get used to it, since it's an HP and my old was a Canon, so te first layout on the guy got cropped at the arm, wich makes little to no sense, given that the scaning area was garanteed bigger then the paper.
And expect to see plenty of sketches dumped here in the next few days. I got roughly 3 months of postings worth to catch up on :)

A clerk(is that the porper word for someone working in a store?) I met while buying paint, since me mum has her mind set on painting some chairs white. I thought he had a somewhat interesting nose, so I sketched him up when I got home.

Did this after watching the V for Vendetta movie, It's my (not so) original character called Vengence. I figured it was amusing enough to combine and draw this. Wanted to do something with heavy shadows on the face.

I'm currently on a project for a swedish fanzine, where my character, as pictured in the previous post, goes up agains a swedish superteam, called "The Northern stars", or "stars of the north", roughly translated from Swedish.
anyways, I'm currently in somewhat of a block when it comes to doing the layouts, so I just doodle the characters a wee bit, to get the hang of them.

I'm liking the foreshortening on the hand, hofling! The foreshortening of the arm is pretty good too. It's very difficult to pull off foreshortening of hands and arms, so I wanted to pop in and comment on that. Keep up the good work!

det ska föreställa Sev (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/RC-1207); från spelet Republic Commando, så jag förstår att dräkten påminner om Batmans. Gjord för en "jam" borta på deviantart. Visst finns dte en hel del som inte stämmer överens med hur han "sa" se ut, men jag är usel på rustningar, och ville sätta lite av min egen prägel på den.

Vapnet däremot var något jag bara slängde ihop, mest då jag inte hade nog med pappersutrymme att göra hans krypsyttegevär.

Nice Hulk m8 ... I think the understructure looks pretty solid and the foreshortening is solid ... looking forward to seeing the final piece.

As for me improving ... thanks again for the kind words (must spread Rep around ... damn) ... I REALLY do need to study more rendering ....... because I can really see the progress you are making ... :D

Bat: Hehe, nothing wrong with caricatures, but there's something wrong when I try to do a "semi-realistic" portrait of myself and it ends up like a caricature :P

But like I said, the guy was bugging me about how superheroes are all about violence and stuff like that, so I took a related character (funny enough, He was complaining about how Hulk always reak havoc and destruction. Like, helloo?!? :rolleyes: :p) and made him do something calmly.

Maybe I should do a "ferdinand" to him and let him sit on a bee?

So this was a drawing I did for a co-worker of mine, whom wanted to give this to his family.

Yeah so, at work, all I do is walk in isles all day long gathering clothes that's being shipped off to the local stores. Which, quite frankly, is boring as hell. So I tend to pick up a peice of cardboard and doodle away. Felt like sharing;

While working on this, I've sort of implemented some of the good ol' villains into the "western-verse". Felt like adding some of them, to fill out the picture some.

The right one shouldn't be TOO hard to figure out. But how 'bout the left one? they're related in the regular marvel-verse, if that helps.

Did two paintings for my sis' birthday. Which was like 4 months ago, lol. She loves GnR and Springsteen.
First time ever working with a proper canvas.

And for the record, the photo was taken by my neice. I do not, I repeat NOT, paint my toenails :P
