It's a confusing question because as far as I'm concerned they're all worth it and offer different gaming experiences.
I only have a Wii, but in a perfect world I'd have all three.
Ultimately which console you get should not be decided by a poll, but by what kind of games you like. If you like first person shooters and sports titles, Xbox 360 is the way to go. If you like Japanese style RPGs and action titles, PS3 might be better for you. And if you like multiplayer games and (obviously) Nintendo games go for the Wii.

I own all three consoles,
and from my experience the wii is a great console, its a lot of fun, especially with friends but for me though the technology is great, its just not got the graphics that offer enough to be the best of the three.
The playstation3 is a fantastic machine, with some great features, none of which I actually use because I don't really feel the need to when I have a pc. I play motor storm on it and the graphics are amazing, the playstation3 might end up being the best buy as far as next gen consoles go but for now I just don't think it has the games to make it a worthwhile purchase.
My favorite is my xbox360. I owned a ps2 and xbox and liked both in different ways, and always thought xbox had potential if it just got some amazing titles. I bought my 360 not too long ago and I have to say I love it. I love the control pad and that instead of standing up all the time jumping around with the wii remote, I can sit back and chill and just play.
I think 360 has the best online play, and therefore you find games have a longer shelf life and I also love the fact I can download any game demos I want from the xbox live marketplace.
so basically,
I'd go with xbox360
though I love all three consoles in their own way.

Okay fine. I voted for Wii because it pains me to see it with no votes.

I have a Wii and a 360. I play the 360 all the time and the Wii occasionally when friends come over. I never really fire up the Wii when I'm on my own. Plus, most of my freinds are on Xbox LIVE... so Sunday nights are spent smack talking while playing Gears/Halo 3 etc.
generally, the state of the Wii concerns me...When are all teh good games coming out?

Graphics aren't nearly as important to me - I can appreciate good graphics, but the difference between really good graphics and great graphics isn't nearly as important as most other factors.
The two main reasons I chose the Wii are Super Smash Bros. Brawl (when it comes out), and the fact that it's way cheaper.

Wii pros:
good for instant fun games with little depth (smash bros, wii fitness, mario party etc)
Wii has unique games, mainly because of it's nintendo franchises that you won't find anywhere else (mario, donkey kong, samus)
So if those characters and their games mean that much to you, get a wii.
Wiimote simply makes it more fun. Fun is multiplied when playing with friends
Backwards compatible.
Wii cons:
Games that're multiplatform tend to suck on the wii, or be a totally different game.
Some games don't even make it to the wii, but show up on 360 and ps3.
360 pros:
Already an established library with hits ( gears of war, halo 3, dead or alive 4) and multiplatform titles, established and up and coming (armored core, devil may cry, oblivion,Grand theft auto 4).
Live is the best online network period.
360 cons
red ring of death (though I think they fixed this with newer models, elite model, halo edition)
Some think it has too many first person shooters.
not %100 backwards compatible.
PS3 pros:
Though only slightly more powerful, it IS the most powerful console on the market.
Exclusive titles (Metal gear, grand tourismo, ratchet and clank etc...though metal gear DID find itself on the original xbox)
Blu ray player (blu ray seems to be winning the format war)
Backwards compatible.
Ps3 cons:
Price tag (though it was dropped to $400)
No "must have" games that aren't available on wii or 360
IMO:
If you want a kid friendly "hey guys, let's play a game we can jump into that'll be fun" console, go for wii. It has smash bros, mario kart, metroid, other exclusive titles.
360 is good for online multiplayer or already established games you know are awesome (gears of war, bioshock, halo 3 etc).
Ps3 if you love it's established franchises (Grand tourismo, metal gear solid, ratchet and clank) and have old ps2 games you still wanna play.
Personally, I want a 360.
I'd love to play smash bros and Mario cart when they come out, but I won't buy the console for them. Probably will play them by a friends house.
-And on a side note, Marvels MMO is on 360.
DDs mmo is on ps3.
(when they're released)
Marvel has a good track record when it some to video games.
DC, not as much.

I recent bought a PS3....primarily for the Blu-Ray.
People I work with having being saying how good 'Resistance:Fall of Man' is. I've played about half way through and i've found it to be boring and formulaic. It plays like an FPS you could find running on any PC about 5 years ago...but with better graphics. I also have Heavenly Sword, which looks amazing...I only had chance to play the first level...but it felt like Dynasty Warriors...but with better graphics. :skull:
When are all the (good) exclusive games for the PS3 coming out?

Thats because the wii isn't powerful enough to work with its own ideas. I have had a wii since its come out and about an inch of dust rests on it.

Yeah, I sold my Wii last week. It's good for 'gatherings', but I never fired it up and played it on my own.
Kojima stated that there are elements to mgs4 that were possible only using ps3 tech. So making a port to X-Box 360 is almost impossible.

Netflix really sealed a deal that was already sealed. Xbox, nothing but net.
