My first day here at PJ . lots of talent around here so it's gonna make me step up my skills when i see so many doing better ,lol .

As I said to your previous post in the Pencil section I love your rendering style. Your Venoms kick tail. Do you reference your work? Because if you do I would love to know what you use ... your work is very very solid.

Thanks alot man . Good to hear that .

As far as referance i don't use anything . I went through alot of books by Burne Hogarth , anatomy + figure drawing etc. Took away what i needed from the books but not enough to change my style .

Venom is by far my favorite character to draw but i try and change him up abit each time as well to keep it interesting .

Messed up the angle of the head in the first one plus other stuff . Second one made Wolvie's body alittle to wide i think , plus he should have been closer so i could add more detail , oh well.

This pic below was scanned in two halfs and i put it together with paint shop , could'nt get rid of the shadow across the middle .

I had stared this when i first joined but had a dial-up connection at the time so uploading and updating it seemed to annoying at the slow internet speeds .

I could start again I guess .

Maybe some nice mod could remove this thread for me ? if that is possible ? and i could start fresh later on .
