It was a tough one between Physicdesigns and Jeremy Bear. The male is me liked the Storm-slave but I have to admit that Jeremy brought the total package to his illustration.

Wow, a lot of great entries this month guys. It was a really tough decision this time. If krikkit had a few more characters in golf attire on panel his entry would have gained my vote.

Faves:

marvelboy, you've got got nice structure and your linework is terrific. You succeed where most fail in that you obviously know how to overwork your drawings, but you resist. A few more finishing touches to flesh out the environment, and I think you might've had this one.

Physicdesigns, I think it says a lot about your skills that you consistently either win or come very close in these and (apologies if I'm wrong about this) you almost never submit a completed piece of artwork. Like marvelboy, I think that extra 10% would've given you the victory... and who knows, you may get it anyhow. You're a force to be reckoned with.

I voted Beastie. You used a style that was perfect for the spirit of the challenge and, let's admit it, even if your drawing had been terrible (and it most definitely isn't), you had the best idea of any of the entries. Any good illustration starts with a good idea. Hope you bring home the trophy this time. You earned it.

I can identify with it pretty well. I worked with a guy that saved ALL of his money so he could go to Thailand. He even told me some stories of the stuff that happened there. Sick... just sick. Great art though. Good job on this one. I think we have a winner.
