Ok this week's sketch group will be like the last, two ideas and concepts to play with, again this is open to any and everyone. So this week's ideas are...


The Madness of Poison Ivy (try your best to make her look nuts)

A mermaid with a trident.

Well, I don't have a lot of time right now, but I whipped up a very fast sketch for this week. It's a VERY quick sketch, so it has plenty of issues, but this one, I might actually do as a complete illustration some day. I couldn't decide which one to do, so I sort of decided to do a beach scene that incorporated BOTH! :)

I've done a couple of the sketch groups. I wish I had time to do more. The ones I've participated in have all been a lot of fun--just like this one!

Thanks guys. The place I was doing part/freelance stuff for gave me full time so now no more 2nd shift dead end graphics job. Woo-Hoo! So....I'm really going to start posing a lot more and actually complete a piece. Thanks for the kind words though guys and the sketches, although few (;)), have been really cool. Loston although it was a 'quickie' I still really dig that man.

Just a couple of quick hits .....

Gilderlance: I totally disagree with your analysis of your mermaid ... I think it rocks. It's got tons of potential and I don't think it's ugly at all.

Manji: I love how you draw faces. They really seem to carry personality and that certain depth of force ... the inner light that comes from an intellectual/emotional being.
