Ok after seeing creepshow 2 (for like the 208th time) and having a head cold over the weekend I have decided that the topic for this week's sketch group will be:


A nasty blob-like creature devouring a victim.

Haha the raft! I love the end of the raft when the kid makes it to shore only to be eaten anyway.

man I miss the creepshow, my fav is the dude that terrified of roaches, the redneck who finds an asteroid and the seaweed monster

You can but it would cooler to have skeletons floating around in there or the creature attacking a bus load of teenagers.

Ok Ok I'm feeling a little better now, thus able to think a little more clearly. So the idea for this week is to have the blob like creature devouring someone. Cool?

BTW -- I don't mean to derail this thread, but what dpi do you guys scan your scetchbooks? What image size do you use? My image seems kind of big and gray.

Cool Repo Man! Great first post and glad you decided to do it in our Weekly Sketch Group. Normally we try to keep our images around 600-700 px and a 72dpi for the web. You can try adjusting your levels in PS or just do a quick contrast adjustment on your scanner to kill some of the gray overtone. Good piece though and I look forward to seeing more from you.

Krazy I like that has dark and light parts. Kinda get a feel that its different parts of some blob. You probably could took it a bit further.
