Here it is, my first sequential post in about 2 years. This is page four of the comic I'm working on. Still got no idea about a name for it. Any random ideas? This is the progression of it, finished, layout, and thumb. Hope you like it. I'll repost the page when I get the first five done.

Hey there Evan :)
I'm not quite sure what to tell you about this page.Being this is Sequential Art.Your penciling is looking pretty good. But! 5-panels to show us a guy tide to a chair is a bit.( just my opinion,I'm sure there is dialog to his thinking while tide up ) I think you could have used less panels ( and though I don't know your script ) used your last panel to make us want to turn the page.as it is our character is far left and that kinda kills the page turn.
I'm hopeing you'll be going for a detailed BG to create more interest.I'm thinking this is a Crime or Detective Story?
I'm glad your posting again, its just with this page theres not enough information for a real critique, let alone a name for the project..perhaps in the future pages things will come into focus;)
Blessings!

Yeah, I guess I kinda figured that there's not a lot to go by. But I just wanted to post this, cuz I haven't posted any sequentials in a long time. I'm kinda jumpin around, and I actually don't have a script with this one. Me and the writer are goin it Stan Lee, Jack Kirby style I guess. He's new to scripting so we are tryin this out cuz I like the story so much and I didn't want it to hinder anything. There is going to be a lot of captions here though, with them covering the most of the right side of that panel. I guess it's hard to take my word for it, but it's gonna work when it's all together.
Not a detective story, at least not in the typical sense, but I guess to an extent it is, at least that it's somewhat of a mystery. I'll try and get the 5 pages done soon, I've been reworking a lot of the character designs and stuff, so I'll finish those up, and get back to work on the important stuff, the sequentials.

One of the best pieces of advice I've gotten from the Pro's is " Take your time.";)
Yeah I know what you mean about posting..I think we all get a bit antsy when we haven't posted for a spell.Right now I'm at the bottem of page 13 with probably another week to go before it's finalized. If I feel like I'm gonna bust, I'll side track myself and do something differnt and post in Penciling or Sketches, just so folks know I'm still Keeping that ol'pencil busy :)
Remember to take your time Evan,You never know, you and your writer may really hit something :D
Blessings!

I love your detail and I like the panel layout. But!... that chair is huge! And too wide if you think about it. Also widen the light stream in the last panel and show more of the wall behind him and it will bring it out more. Reminds of a Bruce Willis movie or something...is he getting interrogated and tortured? Take youir time and finish up your pages. Rushed work is never as good as art when youo take your time and really focus on it.

HEY! I didn't rush this, i just rushed the posting, there's a diference! lol, yeah, I see what you mean about the chair, I was trying out some wonky perspectives, and while it looks cool to me, yeah, wonky. Tortured more so interrogation, I guess, but its gonna be more of a beating.

Relax.
How many sketchy layouts did you make before deciding on this final page layout?
I assume this page is text heavy/a narrative because there is a lot of dead space. I still can't shake silver surfer from panel two. I'd like to comment more outside of what others have said but it's diffficult since there is no script and the script may not call for many specifics outside of just showing torture and abuse.
