Manji

This week's idea was that of a fellow PJer, so the idea for Sketch group 5 is.....

Draw Stan Lee as a Superhero.

Should be fun and I look forward to your contributions.

With an idea like this someone should probably post up some references of Stan Lee so the n00bs know who you are talking about. Someone else do it...I'm too lazy and tired right now. :)

I'll say. You know, you don'r have to use all the ideas suggested, Manji. It would be nice to filter some out. And, I'm gonna go back on my word and say I actually miss your specific subjects for these activities.

When the idea came to me, I figured most people on PJ would take advantage of it. I thought it was hilarious.

Maybe that's just me :D

Odd subject this week though. But I guess any subject is okay for a warmup.

I made it through the rain
I kept my world protected
I made it throught the rain
I kept my point of view
I made it through the rain
And found myself respected
By the others who
Got rained on too
And made it through

We made it through!

I'm getting jealous of the super skills folks on this board have with computer colouring. I got a crappy mouse and need to invest in a tablet. Nevermind (no money). The mouse will suffice.

You may think I'm cruel but I'm actually drawing the future. When stan lee becomes senile he will don a spider-man suit and try to fight crime only to be cut down by a hail of gunfire.

Stan Lee as Doctor Strange:
http://www.juansoriginalart.com/sketchbook108.jpg

I suck at likenesses...that's why I didn't want to do this week's assignment...but I didn't want to puss out either, so I made sure to get this sketch done tonight. Doesn't much look like Stan to me...but eh, at least I attempted something.

Copy his photograph upside Juan. It'll trick your brain in reading shapes that are actually on the page than what you think they are.
