In ESB, Obi-wan tells Luke to go find Yoda, the Jedi instructor who also trained him...

So then who is Obi-Wan's real teacher....the O.G pick of Yoda, or the PM 's "typecasted as a mentor from this point on" Liam Niessen?

After Qui-Gon was killed, Yoda became his teacher. Yoda explicitly said something about learning a method of communicating with jedi who had passed on (or was it how jedi who passed on could communicate with the living?). So he taught this to Obi-Wan and Obi used it to great effect.
