UPDATED on 11/20/06

Please see my latest message after reading the info below - I am still looking to hire someone.

Hi PJers,

I'm happy to announce I have a paying job to offer. I'll give the details to the best of my ability, then please contact me here or offline with further questions.

Job Background

First and foremost, I should mention that the artwork will be part of a Christian Gospel tract. So, if you have any problems with Christianity or religion or anything like that - this is not for you - don't waste your time. :)

You do not have to agree with what is said in the tract or the imagery presented, you just need to have no objection to it. I will provide all the info I can on the tract before you need make a decision.

My hope is to find an artist we can work with as time passes to do multiple projects along this vein.

Job Specifics

The job will require you to provide me 5-6 panels based on thumbnail sketches (see below). Your creative input will be appreciated. The area for each panel is 5" x 2 5/8" - landscape.

I'd like to have a pulp comic feel to it - not horror specifically, but a pulp feel. The title of the tract is "Who can escape...The Grave?!?!"

Here are some super rough thumbnails

Payment is negotiable but expect to be paid based firstly on your experience and secondly based on what this type of job should pay - not looking to shortchange anyone.

I WILL expect QUALITY work delivered ON TIME.

I will expect any applicants to have experience and to show me a portfolio, and you should consider yourself a good artist, at the minimum.

Got to run to dinner, but will answer any questions you have. If you want to know more about the our Church that is producing the tract, click the second link in my sig.

Thanks!

Tom

Hi there everyone,

I still need someone to do this project. I will be paying standard for a job of this type. I tried to contact a couple of guys back in order to proceed with the job, and came up with dead ends. If you want work, you need to communicate.

I was further delayed by sickness and business with my day job. But I need to find someone quickly.

So, I'm again accepting portfolio links for those who are interested. This is something we want to get done ASAP. This is also something that may lead to more work, as we have plans for doing a number of these tracts.

If you want to be considered, please e-mail me your portfolio link and WORKING contact information, as well as your rates and availability for the project. I'm looking for people who conduct themselves professionally and get the work done in the time they say they can. And people who answer emails.

Thanks

Tom
