You had said it has sucked on DA, I think what you could do is add a few more frames to the "pop". If you wanna get extra gross have the chunks fly for a few frames or have the now headless guy fall. As of now you dont see much pop and it kinda takes away from the coolness.

First thing to do is resize that first batch. They're WAY too big. Second thing is stop avoiding hands. Third is use reference for established characters (Thor doesn't wear loose pants last I checked). You'll be drawing in your style no matter what so people will really nitpick if you take liberties with their costumes.
Also, reference female lips. Right now you're giving them a very unatural shape that seems too exagerated even for such a ''cartoony" style.
I would say you need to work on your anatomy, draw from real life, don't use geometric shapes to take the place of muscle groups, etc but you seem to be going for a manga style and most people who want to master that style rarely listen to that advice. That's just an assumption of course, you could be one of the rare ones who realizes that even manga artists learn to draw from real life before applying the symbols that represent "manga".
Backgrounds are sorely needed in your compositions also.

wow you nailed me man, you found all my weaknesses, back grounds are difficult, but i will put alot more effort into making them, and about the Manga Style, i am apsolutely NOT a Manga Artist, but i used to Draw it, Sadly, i can't seem to shake it, so i just apply the Manga Style to the Western Comic Style, as for drawing from real life, yes i need to do more of that, thanks for the cunstructive Crits man, im sure they'll be very helpful.

oh, and for taking liberties with established characters, i can draw them how ever i feel, so long as im not drawing it in the acctual Comic that Way, and so can any artist, i relise that you were just trying to help me dodge a few bullets ( and thanks for the Thought) i belive that you should be able to draw anything as you See fit, again thanks for the comment man.

let me clear that up, i didn't mean "Go to Hell. i Draw how i want!" what i mean is, as long as the character is draw in poportion, and every thing Anatomy-Wise is sound, you have the Right to Take Liberties, But these are just my opinions.

The first post on this page is pretty nice. I like the perspective on the male's face, and the realism his upper torso contains. It seems to take on a different style from his shoulders to his fingers.

I can't put my finger on it but it seems maybe the level of detail doesn't match the torso. Did you start the sketch with the torso? I only ask because it seems to loose the same fluidity (if that's a word) that the pecs, abs and head have.

I like the last sketch. Just enough emotion on each face to be lifelike. The female head where she is leaning forward is almost indicative of a girl who was disappointed. Almost like a grounded teenager. Good stuff there.

Grab your # 3 water color round brush and your Gouache/water colors...there is an ammonia trick that limits paper warping if you not using the right board;)

theres a reason for that. i used to be inspired by him, im not anymore, but i guess the influence has stuck, im more into allred hughes and toth now, and thats my comic, i was just seeing what it would look like if i colored it, but i dont have time to color it regularly

i've officially decided to stop doing comic work im currently working on a comic now and i will do that comic because i said i would, but i realized that
i never actually wanted to do comics from the very beginning. i just thought that it was a stepping stone to gettin a cartoon. i realize now thats ridiculous
and if i wanted to do animation bad enough to do something i didnt even like doing (comics) then i should just work at doing cartoons.

Your going to find Animation a lot of repetitive work...character design is ok but getting it to the motion picture stage is still gonna be a lot of work...dedication is a must.
