Grittings!
Welcome to the space where I will present random work for everyone to poke, prod and mercilessly ridicule!
This first piece is a rework of my first drawing I made for Penciljack, for the Thing Drawoff.

These two images were created years and years ago at the request of a buddy to draw his two favorite characters Aquaman and Black Panther. Naturally I drew Namor and Ultron killing them.

Here is an Iron Man from a few years back. I have always liked it a lot. I know many would criticize it to death for posture, perspective and who knows how many others mistakes; but I like it as is.
The awkward pose was purposeful, as I was drawing Iron Man all effed up, as if he were barely able to stand.

My man Prometheus.
I posted a version of this before, I tweaked a couple things after comments.. most notably moving his cape as before it cut in very drastically.

Tommy "Hitman" Monaghan, baby.
Hitman had one of the best endings ever in a comic book.

I really like your use of shadows and lineweights. They have a "heavy" feel to them that reall lends itself to some characters.

There is much to be desired. :(

So wait, you gave up a charmed life of drinking, racing bikes and fighting dudes for DRAWING? I mean, drawing's fun and all, but...to each his own, I guess. ;)
There's some sweet work in here. I actually really like that Sue Storm image you frowned upon, and I'm envious of your shading skills. Keep up the good work brother man.

Thank you, much! I can't take much credit on the Tim Burton stuff; as the style and fun of it is owed to the original works.

This was for the "Giant Robot Action" draw-off. It was an ambitious concept for me, as I haven't attempted a large cityscape before, and it was also an interpretation of a dream I had. I'm very dissatisfied with it, and may possibly reattempt it someday.

The first image here was a second attempt at a piece for the TMNT 25th anniversary. My concept was to try a new interpretation based on teenagers of today. A lack of a good light source, followed by terrible inking and coloring really killed it for me.
In the second image I have inked over it heavily just to see what I end up with.
I may tackle this concept again someday.

This was a drawing for a friend who's favorite character is the Hulk. Apparently it's destined to be framed and put up on "the Hulk Wall". Hahaha
I don't usually like my own work, but I kind of like this one. Except that a few people that have seen it already commented on the waist width. It's always been part of my "style" to draw somewhat narrow waists in an effort to make the character dynamic. I think I will ditch that practice from now on.

Every artist feels that wall sometimes, some get past it, some dont, but if you want to get past it, you probably have to do something different than what you ve been doing
If its a general burn out, you may just want a break, how long is up to you, a week may be enough, or a month. if you like art dont stay away too long. Try to still look at good art and study it even if your not drawing. look for new and different art to appreciate
If its unhapiness with where your at, you probably need the opposite of a break, find something you lack, and practice it, study it, then try to incorporate it into your style.
