I've noticed that virtually every person you've drawn in this thread is in 3/4 view. You're clearly skilled, but I would suggest varying your viewpoints a bit.

You know, just from going over your DA gallery, I have to say that you have made some pretty nice improvements over your earlier stuff. I actually remember looking at your stuff a while back and thinking "hm, this is okay" - and today my thoughts were more of the "wow, that's pretty damn cool" variety.

i know peter's face in the straight forward one is wrong because i fliped it in photoshop but yeah this was my testing out for a seq i was thinking about doing. Also testing my new red and blue lead.

Your faces are amazing. I'm truly jealous. :D

You're limbs and hands/feet are a bit random throughout though.

For instance, in the Batgirl pic there are two clear problems. One is that her raised fist is enormous - and the other is that the other arm is really, really short (i don't think its a foreshortening issue).

In the pic on the first page where you ask us to 'guess the team' - the guy standing to the left of the pic has feet so small that he'd topple over in a light breeze.

These are all, of course, points that can be easily rectified (if you agree that they're errors that is) - and we're still left with the fact that you draw absolutely beautiful faces.

these are very cool but the only thing i can see wrong is that you draw virtually the same girl over and over in a different outfit a female face study would significantly improve your that issue other than that awesome work

Sure the newer version is a better rendering job, but the feel of the older one just really works for me. The newer version is a little too "Jennifer Love Hewitt" for my taste. (Not that I wouldn't kill to taste JLH, by the way, 'cause I would)
The older version, the face, expression, the colors, everything, was just perfect.
The newer version, the clothing you did there is friggin' awesome!

Interstingly enough the second person to say that they like the older one better. I am still going to push my new more to get the same effect of emotion.
Here...trying to convey the same emotion....still debateing on the face and i messaround with different eye effects to see what i like best.

not very good at foreshortening. So the only way i figure i could get better is by pushing my self to draw it more and more and one day it will look more natural. I always do the safe pose.

So yeah this sketch isn't very pretty or good but it's an atempted effort at learning something new.

You are pretty hard on yourself in post 71, but I'd say Juggy looks pretty good. I'd bring the leg down to 6 o'clock instead of 4 o'clock...might help a bit.

Based on your Mech comparison shots you've def improved. I like the color you gave to the visor with the color transitions, giving it a UV coating look to it. Also its soo much cleaner and pro-like. Sweet work. Seeing this makes me wanna ups my coloring skillz (or lack of). :cool:

I'm a little confused
Are you trying to find the art for the cover or are these the pices that will go in the sketch book.
If its any help I dont care for the black circles around the girl in the dress ,I like the one with mustard circles better.

Also as far as what I think the bottom image that has 4 pics of the girls alltoghter would look cool as a cover to me the blue black and the mustard.
Anyway your art is Exceptional ,evertime I see it

I think your blue piece is the strongest, although the mustard is nice, too. The greytones really add a lot to your sketches.

Agian for latecomers this these pieces for my portfolio. I ran this by friend of mine at cartoon network and he says that people dont want to see colored day and night version of the same image? However i think it looks lonely with out it?


Also with my CH designs on a page? He the two images look funny? Should i put another ch design in it's place of the black and white?
