Jamboree #42: The 8-bit Jam

This week we're paying homage to those height of technology videogames that made playing outside obsolete. This jam is dedicated to Mario & Luigi, Link, the Contra guys and every other game that managed to entertain us for hours with the limitations of only 8 bits and two buttons on the controller. Arcade games are also welcomed of course as long as they were 8-bit.
As always, the jamboree jigs are not up for critique, any medium is acceptable and the jamboree will be moved to the Community Projects after one week so you can still contribute after the week is up.
People expected to participate this week are G-man_2000 (who suggested the topic here (http://www.penciljack.com/forum/showthread.php?t=68106&page=2)), Pigpen and Spidey.

T&C surf designs game was a favorite of mine, mainly because of the character designs, because the game itself was hard as heck.

I “game genie” the heck out of that game, it was one of the best games ever to use a game genie type devise on. The game was awesome once you got past that horrible level 3. Being around age 10 I new I’d never past that level with out memorizing the entire level. Never had as much fun using game genie to cracking other games then I had with Battletoad's. Using your super punch to know an enemy so hard it took a whole min for him to come back down form the sky and that’s was just one of the codes.:D
