Lately, I've been looking at my crappy sketches, and I bought a gray marker a while ago from Michaels. So I've been going over the old crappy sketches and toning them, and it's given me some pretty cool results.

Here. A quick color job. I just toned it, then selected and threw in highlights, by using the fill tool set at 30 percent opacity and filled white in.

This was done with one of those brush pens. It's kind of cool to get that thick thin sort of a thing, but it's nothing like the real thing. Brushes are easier to control, but brush pens are less messy.

Here's a page, I'm not sure wheather or not to print this in color, or black n white. I plan on making a bunch of gags about me and my wife, and making it into a small mini-comic. I should spend more time on this stuff, but I feel like just cranking this stuff out and maybe that will make me a better artist. You know, do your best, as quick as you can, then move on.

Here's the colored version.

Just to let you know, I started coloring the turtle sketch at just after 7pm, and finally finished uploading this colored piece, by 7:55. I'm really trying to produce art as quickly as possible. Crappy as it may be, I still think it's the best way to work for me lately. Especially with practically no time to spare in my life.
