Whos' the better actor.

Al Pacino

Robert Deniro

Jack Nicholson

And if you had to pick your favorite characters they played and they had a deathmatch who would win.

Well if we were going for roles were they were more than human I guess Pacino would win since he did play the devil in that Keanu lawyer movie. Versus Deniro's frankenstein and Nicholson's werewolf, or warlock from the witches of eastwick.

but I think its more fun if its their gangsters/mafia and cop roles

For Nicholson was a great as the Joker in the first Batman movie.

Al Pacino as Scarface

And Deniro as Taxi Driver.

When it comes to death matchIt would be close between Scarface and The Joker, I think the Joker has the edge. Nicholson wins it for me.

The Nicholson from as good as it gets vs. Pacino from scent of a woman vs. Deniro from sleepers.

My money is on Pacino

De Niro- Pacino's hamminess is unforgivable at times. Nicholson has some great moments (Batman, About Schmidt, The Shining) but De Niro just goes that extra mile for me (If you haven't seen it yet, check out The King Of Comedy)

I been sitting here for like 30 minutes trying to decide. and I can't they are all danged good. I tried to ask myself who am I more scared of. I gotta be honest with yah they all scare me fairly equally. I cant decide so Im not going to But I will say that Jack Nicholson from the Shining probably would win if i could make up my mind.

I like 'em all but, IMO, nothing tops Nicholson in Chinatown.

Concerned that there is no Schwarzenegger on the poll...so I had to go for good old Jack. Loved him the Shining.

I gotta say DeNiro. His characters are all different from movie to movie. That's how you tell. The movie's not just a vehicle for the star's own bloated personality, like Jack's, or Pacino's are anymore.

Brando stopped acting after Last Tango in Paris. Some might say Apocalypse Now was his greatest work of that period, but if you seen Redux, you know how much Coppola saved his performance with brilliant editing.

You just have to watch Pacino in Carlito's Way and then you'll know.

The real heavy-weight is Brando ... in more than one sense. The best actor is Nicholson. De Niro's had his days but the real bad-ass is Pacino. He scares me like none of the other actors can.

I was going to say Nicholson, but then you put Brando in the others category. He blows all these guys out of the water.

I mean, c'mon, he was hot as hell in On The Waterfront.

Denzel Washington. From all the movies he's done I think I only didn't like two of them and that was because the script was impossible to save.

Sir Laurence Oliviet
Marlon Brando
Jimmy Stewart
Will "Oh Hell no!" Smith

You probably believe that last one : )
