Ok, now that it's over, what did you guys think of it? I'd go ahead and post a critique, but I have no food in my head. I'll come back and tell ya what's what. You go ahead and tell me now though.

It started out promisingly, like it was going to simplify the status quo and brighten things up.
It ended a total mess, confusing the DC Universe more than ever.

i think what it did to the unverse is very confusing but man oh man seeing a pissed off superboy was great. Always wanted someone with superman's power to go nuts. It took a lot to take him down. I don't know about the fallout but I liked it.

I loved it...but as a teenager I judge comics by how cool the battles are : P. But seriously, I loved the moment in 7 where batman had the gun to alexander luthors head, it's nice to see bats consider killing every once and a while.

That part was really cool. I was hoping for wonder woman to slice him in half. I'd like to see her go evil. The end part with Joker was awesome too. I like Superboy Prime. Hope he makes a return to cause more trouble. :D

Hey all,
I was away from computer access all weekend otherwise I would have jumped on this earlier. Can someone type up a full review? Pretty please?
MisfitX, you said you would. Own up, yo. Where's that critique?
If anyone else wants to beat him to it, feel free.

I missed a few of the middle issues, can anyone explain to me how superboy prime is more powerful than both supermen?
Aren't their power levels based on the amount of sun they absorb and wouldn't he have absorbed the least.
Also how does superboy freeze people with his breath in space? Isn't it already as cold as it can get out there?

Because he was wearing that armor that gives him intensifyed yellow sunlight. That's why both Supermen slammed him into the red sun - to destroy the armor, then proceed to pummel him.
Oh the freezing in space thing... who knows. But in space isn't it 200 degrees difference between light and shade? can't remember. It was still a cool scene.

Superboy Prime is the teenage version of the Silver-age superman, who could move planets and travel at lightspeed (and had super hypnosis, and tons of other stupid powers).
Better question, how does he talk in space?

Wow, I totally forgot about this after I posted it. I'm a bad penciljacker. Look, I'll go re-read the series, and resurrect this threat like whoa. Plus there's the whole 52 and Countdown to be considered now. It's f'n wild.

It's funny that you've bumped this thread, Wes. I've been thinking about this recently, especially with Final Crisis coming up. I might get the trade because I plan on not missing this new Crisis.
But seriously, man, a year?! DJ should just kill you.

Infinite Crisis and Final Crisis are the shiz-bam-bizzle! Very Ballsy on DC's part. I really Like Dan Didio. He's doing an excellent job as Executive Editor at DC!! IMO
