Storm vs, Captain planet

How this started:

My friends were playing marvel vs capcom2 last night and was saying how overpowered the marvel super heroes are compared to Capcoms fighters.

Him:Look at Sentinal! What machines capcom got to compete? Megaman? Servbot? Look at storm! She's like a god! She's like captain planet!

So yeah, it was hilarious.
Got me thinking to post this thread though.

My money is on planet. It all comes down to how fast matee (or whatever his name is) can use his calming heart power on storm.

Right..... well, he needs a bunch of whiney brats to combine the powers of their rings (it was rings right?) just to come to life, forget actually DO anything so i think storm has him licked.

I must agree on this "Captain Planet is an idiot" line of thinking- as well as looking like Sting (anyone see The Oscars where he played the hurdy gurdy? Nothing funnier), his song says "Gonna bring pollution down to zero"

And yet, his weakness is pollution. This is inherently stupid.

If the kids can’t put Captain planet together before Storms attacks then storm will win for shore. If Captain planet could close’s Storm in a small box like space and she starts freaking out from claustrophobia then Captain planet would win for shore.

... Wheeler developed a bottle a day drinking problem.
... Linka discovered a fatal allergy to peanuts
... Kwame's father made him a despot ruler over a small African country (the earth ring coming in very handy for that)
... Gi losing the Water ring in a late night game of Texas hold 'em in Jersey

...Storm made quick work of Ma-ti and his little pet Suchi. Captain Planet never had a chance.
(Oh yeah and afterwards Gaia and Storm became lovers and lived happily ever after).
