Ah! you broke Cap's right arm! Just kidding. It is in quite an awkward position. As workhorsecomics said, pay attention to proportions and anatomy. Don't look at comics for anatomy, pick up some books. Either by George Bridgman or Burne Horgarth are great books to work from. And one other note, your shading/rendering kind of makes things look flat. Looking at his left leg shows this the most. Keep practicing.

Your art definitely needs a bit of work in the anatomy department, but I've really got to hand it to you for trying some of these poses. Most artists wouldn't attempt the perpectives and poses you have in this and the Hulk pic, but you gave it a shot. Keep 'em coming, and keep working with the anatomy.

Thanks guys. I do need to work on my anatomy. I have an anatomy book (An Atlas of Anatomy for Artists by Fritz Schider) and I've done some life drawings. I wanted to give drawing without references a shot to see how I would do. I need more work/practice.

Thanks. I'll keep posting my sketches. Everyone who has posted has been really helpful with their crits.
