Danny Ketch superior to Johnny Blaze

Sorry, old timers its the damn truth.
if i hold this down to strictly design level (which i dont need to but i will) Danny Ketch was the FAR superior Ghost Rider.

FAR cooler bike,Far cooler Uniform and FAR cooler presence/powers (sorry couldnt help myself)

maybe the chopper was cool to all the kids who saw "Easy rider" in the theatres but i dont care,My first impression of ghost rider was Jim Lee's,and that to me was as perfect as it gets.

I'm not super young, but I'm not old at all. That said, Ketch was the Rider I grew up reading. So I'll give the nod to Ketch.

I only read Johnny Blaze - and as I recall, he was a tortured soul as the Rider- so Ketch can have the job.

I too was a tortured soul - reading any story drawn by Frank Robbins.

Fully agreed. Ketch's Rider was the shizz. The bike was particularly cool.
Best renditions were done by Javier Saltares and Max Texeira imo.
Wish it was the route the movie was going :/

as much as i tried i could never fully get into texieras work.AGAIN jim lee did him the best the few times he did.

Hum, don't know Jim lee's version, but I doubt he made it as gritty as the 2 artists I mentioned, his art isn't really famous for being dark... I'd be interested in seeing pictures, if you can post any :)

I'm not sure if Lee did any issues of Ghost Rider (I'm sure someone can correct me), but there was a Ghost Ride / X-men crossover in the early 90's. I remember this issue:

Ha, yeah, I remember this, it was very lame story-wise. Jim Lee was doing his usual thing, doing it well, but it really suited the X-men more than Ghost Rider from what I reckon.
