The fact is Mortal Kombat is a novelty game versus the finesse of Street Fighter. The Street Fighter crew would win hands down.

Well Mortal Kombat's also got Fatality! When would the street fighters kill? Plus MK4 can also claim they can fight in 3 dimesions and still be fun!

See, my previous point about novelty still holds up. Street Fighter has endured more through the poise of fighting. Mortal Kombat got stupid- babalities?

Pretty cool. The real winner? Master of the Flying Gillotine, which is what ALL these games were inspired by. It even had an Indian guy that could stretch his arms like Dhalsim.

Mortal Kombat will always be seen as the B-Street Fighter game.
I new this exchange student from Japan who was really into fighting games. I asked him if he knew what Mortal Kombat was and he had no idea. Guess its only a state side thing. Street Fighter is worldwide.
