Not happy with about half of them, but I'd like to do more of them, first run at it.

Lost as in from that show lost? I never watched it so I dont know who they would be anyway. :P
suppose I could do a google search for it buuuuuuuuuuutt.... too lazy for that.
I think the biggest thing that sticks out for me critique wise is that on the second page the first guy's skull is cut off at the back a bit. Its cool to see different facial features though. Its hard to get out of that "generic face" mode (at least for me).

I'm amazed myself as long as I've been drawing how truly bad my heads and faces are. It's almost disappointing. Didn't see Sayid's half skull, thanks for pointing it out.
Pretty good, X. I could pick out most of them. As a critique, I would suggest working on how you render curly hair. Its looking a bit too scribbly.

Did a couple updates. Don't know why I want to draw these guys.

hey man.. whatever keeps you drawing.
I know there are different head shapes out there and body types so I dunno if this is a legitimate comment/critique and if not at least i tried eh? The one thing that stands out with the first head in your update (the side view of the female) Her jawbone line seems to go waaaay to far back. Her hairline looks like it starts really early, in which makes her head kinda pudgy because the top of her scalp and the back of her skull seem to be shortened up as well. I think if you move the ear closer to her eye and shorten up her jawbone it will allow you to draw the top of her head/back of her head bigger. I dunno if I am making sense and lord knows I need a hell of a lot more practice on heads than you do. Your female necks are looking really thick too. I know that its from a t.v. show but Im not sure they have quite that thick of necks. The guy at the bottom (i think you said his name was Sayid) his neck seems a bit rounded out to me. The neck should be going straight down (of course until it meets the trapezius muscles) but it looks like you curved it out a bit too much. I hope that Im helpin and not coming off as a complete asshole because I love to see your work and I want to see more :)

always! Even if you were considered the best artist in the world (and we know there is no such thing) there is always something to learn. Keep on posting some sketches of these characters. I like the progress and I can tell how each time you draw them they change and you learn each time. keep em comin man

I think the reason that you are drawing the cast of Lost is because it is truly a unique and diverse group of people....thus broadening your capabilities...
I think the second group is stronger, and if anything it was really hard to figure out the Korean couple.
These sketches actually make me want to sketch up some Lost members. It'd be good practice.

I have a couple shows and movies from which I'd like to sketch out some characters, hopefully they'll get better.
It's weird, I don't see a lot of these problems until after I'm adjusting them in photoshop. My wife can attest to the number of times I've complained about how wonky their eyes and skulls and noses are.
Thanks for looking.

I really like these. I'm not familiar with the show and there are too many for me to critique individually, so I'll just give you a general statement. A lot of these faces are really flat looking. You might want to try to add a few more contour lines on the faces to give it more dimension. I think that you achieved this with the one in the right column, fifth down, that seems have the most demension and I think it is the best of the lot.
