The Authority VS The X-Men

I'm goin' with The Authority. Although both teams have ben beaten, torn apart, blown up, had traitors etc, etc, etc. i think the Authority could care less about killing, sexual fornication smoking and other considered unmoral stuff. I think this gives the Authority the edge because all they will do is want to eliminate the threat by any means possible. no?

I say the X-Men would decimate The Authority just because of the huge number of mutants that make up the roster of the X-men, past and present. Because of that, Phoenix would be in that mix, and she alone could take down The Authority.

It would be a cool fight, though. Lots of mutants heads flying left and right. But, in the end...The X-Men would stand victorious.

Well, what team of X-MEN would it be fighting the Authority? Give me a lineup. It all depends on who the X-MEN have on their team. I agree with Pop. If Phoenix is in the X-MEN lineup then it's automatically over. I'd probably have to go with the X-MEN. They've fought plenty of villains and teams of villains who could care less about killing. But if you say the Astonishing X-MEN squad, then the Authority would kill those dudes.

Have to agree with Agents Myth on this one. Plus the fact that the Midnighter can fight every single xman in his head over a million times and win every one, so he goes in to the battle VERY prepared. I could see him having a few problems with Wolverine in hand to hand, but then thats what Apollo is there for. He is their Superman.

However it ends, and it does end for the Xmen in this one, it will be pretty ugly.

I'm going with the Authority. Hands down. They're meaner, nastier and let's face it, world dominators. The Mutes...well, they piss & moan at each other a lot.

Besides, didn't the Authority already fight a bunch of 'supes' that resembled the X-Men...or was that the Avengers?

hahaha you think ? Like humans are all brothers... look at the holy war the islam wants to bring to america.... i don't think mutants are as different from humans do with other humans.

I'd say x_-men.... cause they have a smaller group and are better equiped and better organised. Charles X could make everyone on earth think they are baby's... so that problem would be solved easily.

Anyway the whole problem would be dealt with if charles just sacrificed himself by crawling behind cerebro 24/7 put him on life-support and let the humans think mutants are part of the society....
