How does one sign up for a Jam?

When do they happen?

Can you start your own or do you need a mod?

If I can start one, where and how do I start it?

If a man says something in the forest and a woman is not around to hear him, is he still "Wrong"?

Why does the sun come up?

Why do I ask all these innane questions?

1. just go to the jam tread, see what's still avilible an ask to participate.

2. only one jam is happening at a time(usually with a 3 month deadline for completion.) i think.

3. i believe only a mod can start it. or you have to have a mod start it for you..

4. see #3

5. i say no..my wife says yes...but i'm never right anyway.. :D

6. when it gets bright outside.

7. so idiots like me will anwser! :D

Or you can talk to me.

We've got a few jams in the pipeline and thanks to our exchange with the writing lab, we've got scripts for every odd jam.

But if you stop by the Projects Discussion, you can see what we're up to.

Thanks for the interest.

So which Jam in specific caught your eye that caused you to want to get involved and how would you be getting involved? Art, Inks, Colors, Text, or writing?

Well, I had a few ideas for some and I also was curious if there was a special forum for requesting people take a shot at inking your pencils or pencilling your wrtiting or coloring your work or whatever. I like some of the suggested jams now like the Draw someone else's character and the cereal monster jame but the first has a long line of people waiting on it and the other ain't my cup o tea.

Just curious if there were other jams to participate in.

you should look in Community Projects forum. Thats where the fusion jams take place. Also there is an ongoing project called " Awesome Storm Justice 41" which is a webcomic which was created by Ugga Bugga and being done by many different members of penciljack. Ive been involved in several webisodes and i can tell you, it's fun! You work with a team of artists to create a six page webisode. currently there are 2 webisodes published and 3 more getting ready to be published!
webisode 6 and 7 teams are forming right now!!

You can check out the webisodes here: ASJ41 Webisodes (http://www.uggabugga.net/My_Homepage_Files/Page51.html)

email or pm ugga bugga if your interested along with a link to some samples..!!

Hope this helped

Frank has made some great points there.. check out the projects discussions section (under the Community Projects board) and drop your 2 cents worth perhaps..

Having been involved in ASJ and a jam or two (as a writer/co-editor/editor), it's been great fun I can tell.. and a great learning experience.. would be really great if we saw more folks getting involved with it all and not just covers/pinups.. :D but I digress...

holler at xadrian.. or even check out some of the sample scripts/winning writing contests scripts over on the writing lab board, the current jam is based on one of those winning scripts..

lia etc

I would just like to see, in addition to the quirky fun stuff, some straightforward weekly "Draw this character" or "Make a cover for this series/story" type challenges.

I like the fun stuff but, in my honest opinion, those should be the once a month for the Hell of it stuff and a weekly challenge should be offered which is a bit more straightforward. Something to keep us sharp.

If you wanna stay sharp get involved in some battles.
