I'd like to hear how some of you find artists to work with. I'm thinking of creator-owned, smaller indie stuff -- not pitches for Marvel/DC/etc. Do you place want ads? Word of mouth with friends of friends?
Thanks.

Try Gutterzombie. There seem to be quite a few pros there as well as helpful hobbyists who might want to tackle some work.

Take out an ad and pay somebody for their time or find an artist with an idea and write to their specs. I have done both.

Thanks. Can we move the one about selling scripts too? It doesn't seem related to writing either (at least to me). Personally, I'd rather talk about being good writers in the Writer's Section.

Thanks. It's just that "How do I break into the business?" thing is SOOOO depressing. I like it HERE because that's not the focus here.
