As the title says, the movie Hannibal is making its television debut on the Sci-Fi Channel this Saturday. Hannibal. On Sci-Fi. Am I missing something here?

I expect a handful of decent sci-fi flicks, an assload of b-movies, more Stargate SG-1 than I shake a stick at, and maybe even some fantasy... Not a psychological thriller, or modern day ultra-violence fest. Maybe it's because Ridley Scott directed, but this still seems incredibly stupid.

Wow. Guess they're getting desperate. Next up? Golden Girls.

But that one is sci-fi... Pffff, women can't live that long.

"i love it when a plan comes together!"

awwwww crap, i just realized that you were talking about the lame-ass cannibal, and not the cigar smokin mercenary.

damn you for giving me wood. Ridley scott directing an A-Team movie would give me petrification-boneritis... heh, and i guess he can only make one bad movie about a hannibal. two would be pushing it

I saw this movie on the USA network a month or so back.

I noticed the Sci-Fi channel likes to air non-sci-fi movies that were previously aired on USA.

Can't really think of an example, but I know they've done it before.

Are you sure it wasn't Red Dragon? I don't think Hannibal has been on any television station yet.

Yeah, you see, the idea of a man killing all these people, then eating them...that's SCIENCE FICTION. Nobody would ever do a thing like that in real life! I mean, COME ON!

Bruce whispers in her ear...

 What? REALLY? Eeeewwww!!

*cough* Never mind.

Um...I go with the "USA is getting the most out of every damn movie it buys, no matter how stupid it is to air it on Sci-Fi" opinion.

Yeah. That's the ticket!
