Is it just me, or is this turning into a fine series?

I just finished #3, which I found to be one of the best written stories I have read in a long time.

Lex Luthor and Bruce Wayne interacting. Potential to be really awful. Instead, I found it compelling, interesting. I found myself disappointed when the story was done.

The art and coloring, is really enjoyable, and adds to the mood of the story.

I agree, i love the gritty look the art conveys to make sure you are seeing Superman as "The ALien" that luthor calls him.

Art by Lee Bermejd
Written by Brian Azzarello.

Let's start with the writing. It is smart, intelligent, and is setting up Lex, as an intriguing, complex character. He is giving, loving, yet can be so cold and calculating.

**********spoiler*****************
In Issue #3 there is an intriguing exchange between Lex and Alfred, where Lex tries to hire Alfred away from Bruce Wayne. Also, watching Bruce Wayne, and Lex Luthor interact with each other was fascinating. Through the art, and the writing, the creators manage to capture the tension that a meeting between these two in their civvies would inevitably exist.

What I am also enjoying is that we get to see things from Lex's perspective. The narrative is Lex's narrative. We gain some insight into what makes Lex tick.

The art is incredible imo. The colors add to the package.

Check it out.

was it over covered why superman beat the shit out of batman? After reading it and went over to DC's board and all kinds of super nerds were picking on the bat nerds.
