i was at an FYE the other day, and i caught all six of this series for just .99 cents each. Boy, is this a beautiful thing to look at. Tim Sale makes Hulk look so ugly and yet really human at the same time, but when he gets mad it also looks great. The covers are brilliant, but i dont like the way Sale makes all of his geeky characters with long faces. As for the story, i personally dont think it's a great story. Its basically just a retelling, with alot of cheesy moments thrown in, like when Hulk and Betty are under the rock in the rain. In the end though, it was worth the six bucks. anyone else read this? if so, what did you guys think?

I think Loeb and Sale really hit their stride with Daredevil Yellow. Spiderman Blue and Hulk Gray are both gorgeous, but sort of just fun throw-backs to 50s and 60s stuff. They just didn't grab me as much as Superman For All Seasons, the Long Halloween, Dark Victory, etc.

I really like Catwoman: When In Rome, though.
