View Full Version : JAMBOREE #6: Action Figure Self Portrait
MC Fumunda
03-01-2005, 11:23 PM
Welcome to week six of Penciljack's official weekly Jamborees!
This week's Jamboree is the "Action Figure Self Portrait Jamboree!". So let us see what an action figure styled after yourself would look like. Feel free to show the accessories you'd come with, or any features your figure has.
So take some time off of your busy schedules and participate in this fun weekly activity. Remember, this isn't for crits, or competition, or anything other than fun.
Any medium, be it traditional or digital, and take as much time as you'd like. Your only limits are the regular posting guidelines. (http://www.penciljack.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29914)
Unfortunately, I forgot it was new Jamboree time, so my jig will be a little late. But Mike Todd stepped up to the plate to take the first swing, and I promise mine'll come later.

Later = now!

Me as a Kamen Rider action figure.
Someone told me about this before it was posted...so I just did a Actionfigure of a character and placed me...not me as an actual action figure. I thought I wouldnt want to bore you all with that. Nothing special about me to be made into an figure..that company would loose money.

Awesome.
See, you have to get these early or else all the "articulated boner" and "wank-fu grip" jokes get taken.
Good stuff guys.

HAHAHA! True that, Xad! I was too late on the last couple and got jacked a couple of times by faster contributors! It pays to brainstorm early!
Nice one, turnbolt! Wank-fu kills me!

matty! there's no way you could have 11 points of articulation in you action-boner if you count the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, ankles, knees, waist, and hips joints!
MC Fumunda
03-03-2005, 12:04 AM
Hahaha.
The joke is on the consumer. Most of those joints don't even articulate, they're just made to look like it! That's why it's only minutes of fun.
But seriously, the Action Boner on my toy is awesome.

I think F!NCH was referencing the what-appear-to-be man breasts. I know it's not supposed to be that, but once he mentioned it, I knew immediately what he was talking about.
MC Fumunda
03-03-2005, 11:00 AM
The only accessory that needs to come with Jacon's is his Hulk like anger.
Awesome jig, brohem.
Haha...I dig the mecha, Dan. You wish.
This one has been pretty fun. Props to Eb for actually doing the boxart, too.
Vargas Prime
03-03-2005, 11:26 AM
I thought F!NCH was commenting on something a bit more... lewd. Like the motion of Jacon's figure's hands. Judging by Jacon's smack-back, apparently he thought the same.

03-03-2005, 11:40 AM

See that was what I thought because of the pocket design... it looks a bit like a white fluid drip and I thought F!NCH misread it that way... Thank you Popninja! I feel better now!
By the way, jacon, I should mention that it's an awesome jig! I like all of the points of articulation! And it's animated and angry!!! Woohoo!!!
Here we are all discussing it like it's a science exhibit... sorry, man!

As funny as everyone's jigs are, isn't an inaction figure only an inaction figure if it has no point of articulation? Then, it'd look just like a regular drawing of yourself. Don't mind me, I just think the use of the word as a joke has gotten old. Or maybe my blood sugar is low.
Chris Piers
03-04-2005, 12:27 PM
You are probably correct. I was using it as a descriptor that my figure had very few points of articulation.
Knigge
03-04-2005, 03:01 PM
Gotcha, I was just being cranky and overanalitical.

I was using the word to articulate the point that the real world Matty doesn't do a whole lot.
So, yeah.

Drunk... peeing... Irish as all Hell...
Yep! That's a great action figure!!! HAHAHAHA!!!
You know when I was a little kid I would take a hammer and a nail and make little mouth holes on my playskool people and then I would roll up a little piece of notebook paper and stick it in their new little mouth and light it with a match and then blow it out... the end result was a playskool kid with a little cigarette and real smoke coming off the cigarette... and I always wished I could figure out how to make them pee and stuff too... I never had the technology to rig that until I was older...
er... well... perhaps I have rambled enough here... but this takes me back is all...
Excellent figure, my friend!!!
