I was watching the new season of 24 and they showed previews for 2 new shows that look very good. One is about a killer released from prison that is now helping youths on the street.

The question is, should I invest my time in these shows if FOX is going to pull their usual bs and yank them before you get to see how it all ends up?

I just want to know where the hell Arrested Development is.

It was critically acclaimed. (i.e. cancelled.)

I always missed Arrested Development, I never even take a Journey to the major networks if I'm even watching TV at all... And if I am, I'm only watching it for movies. TCM I love you.

I just want to know where the hell Arrested Development is.

Eventually it will regain popularity on DVD and/or reruns on another channel (Cartoon Network?). Then 4 years later, they will make new episodes. :p

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be on next week, I'm just disappointed that I haven't been able to watch it in something like 5 weeks.

TV is a drug, are you an artist or a TV watcher?

I dont watch TV, it is designed to make humans dumber (http://home.datacomm.ch/rezamusic/tv_research.htm) ... I would suguest engaging in an activity that requires thought insten of sitting on your duff watching "Mr. Babysitter" mouth a gaping witha stream of drool dangling from ya lower lip...

You get the point

Yeah, watching TV makes you less intelligent but hanging out and posting on message boards really ratchets up the ol' IQ.

As does responding to those posts.

See, we're all idiots. ;)

I'm a hundred percent sure that Arrested Development is not only one of the best shows currently on television, but is one of the better sitcoms ever made.

And for anyone who cares, Ricky Gervais is slated to appear in an episode of Arrested Development, as well as write an episode of The Simpsons.

I think all will be back next week. The holidays tend to screw with schedules. Nothing that I've been watching regularly has been new nor has it been running on a regular schedule. Come next week and into February sweeps, things will go back to normal. Arrested Development is still on. So's Simpsons. And although I haven't heard much on it, isn't new Family Guy supposed to be coming out soon? Or American Dad? At the very least, I recall that Cartoon Network would get AD after it broadcasts on FOX and they showed a bump recently showing all the premiers coming up for the year.

But back to the subject. I think next weekend we'll be back to normal.

I actually am a Fox tv network fan, Fox is prized because it's viewer based is the elusive 18-35 range. Though it had some shows I liked that have been cancelled because it wasn't a ratings hoar immediately, if Seinfeld was on FOX it would have been cancelled after season 2.

I miss

John Doe(good show)
Wonderfalls
Family Guy(realized there mistake, took them long enough)
among others I forget because of the time

what do YOU think is a good show?

Well, pretty much the only show on FOX right now that I watch consistantly is House. I've seen Quintuplets once and thought it was hilarious but I'm always watching something else on that night.
The reason why I don't like Arrested Development is that I decided to give it a chance but it was very boring to me. It didn't make me laugh once. But like I said, to each his own.
What I miss is Titus. THAT show was hysterical.

I'm still watching That 70's Show, but I'm glad it's running out of 70's... it's about time for that series to wrap up.

Laura Prepon is the only reason I've ever watched it.
Yummy.

I liked her better as a redhead, though... there's a dearth of hot redheads on TV, and way too many blondes.

True. The redhead thing works.

I saw her on some talk show once, and she's not even really a red head. Also, the Mexican looking chick is way finer.

All I know is I wish The Wonder Years was running with some re-runs I'd like to see that show from the start. It's been to long.

Mila Kunis, also the regular voice for Meg on Family Guy. And yah, she's cuter, but I like petit women more anyhow, so she has an unfair advantage.

Even if Prepon's curtains don't match the carpet, redhead was still a better look.
