Ok I kinda already started a post over in the break room before noticeing this place. But Mc Fumunda told me to start a review over here. So here it is. I've never written a review before so lets see if I can do this with as little spoilers as possible.

Alright lets start off with the first thing anyone notices about the book....the art. It's this beutiful mix of comic book and abstract art thats going to nock your sox off. While being abstract it's still very readable and energetic. The book comes to life with every turn of the page thanks to Chris Chua. Thats right our very own Chris Chua is the artist for this book. There's nothing you can do about it... your just going to love his mind provoking pages and his tooth crushing action scenes.

And now on to the story. It's about a young kung fu apprentice who has learned enough to venture out into the real world. When he gets out of the temple he decides to pay a visit to the only father figure he's ever known....Master Tze.
Only to find out that General Zhoa the main villian in the book ( think the king pin ) has killed his Master Tze. And now feeling at fault for leaving behind his master and persueing kung fu, he begins his journey to avenge Tze. It's a very epic story that i've tried to down play in order not to through any spoilers in. Kurt Christenson (the writer) is the brains behind the book and he has surely study and mastered his craft.

Now the reason I love the book is for both the art and the story. But yuor also gonna get alot of extras I mean the end of this book plays out like a dvd. Like a few pages of sketch book material aswell as commentary by both the artist and writer. You'll get a bonus short Wu Long story entitled "Wulong meets turtle". And also you'll get an exclusive look at the next chapter in the story. Now with a book packed with this much stuff is impossible to pass up.

I don't suggest you sleep on this one or you'll be left in the dark. I predict a pretty big following and possibly eventually main stream fans. This bookhas alot of potential. It reinvents the comic book as we know it in a way nobodies done since maybe Will Eisner ( which I belive somebody else here has already said) Sorry this was my first review so I hope it didn't go over board.

Nope, sounds great.

Links to the website it's available from and possibly a cover shot would be a nice inclusion.
