I had a thought earlier while I was recommending a couple of books in one of the Tips & Tech forums.
Where books are mentioned/recommended in posts, why not link the titles to Amazon? If running costs are an issue (as evinced by the introduction of the Google ads) their affiliate programme could be a solution.
Unlike the underhanded linking schemes on certain other sites (which will remain Ain't It Cool News), Amazon links here would actually be to the benefit of the members. And what better way to repay the wealth of knowledge offered by Penciljack than by buying your essential reading through the site?
