To paraphrase the Beatles, "I asked you for some sad songs before, man... I asked you for a cool mix CD, man... well, here's another Q for you all..."
What are your favorite love songs?
I'm not looking for your average run-of-the-mill "I love her, she loves me" songs; I'm looking for what Gene Simmons describes as, "I love her, but she's in love with someone else" songs. Or "I love her and she doesn't even know it."
Either that or love songs that are too good to miss.

Whiskey Lulaby . By Brad Paisley. Yeah. i know its country. but its about a guy who drinks himself to death cause he catches his girl with someone else.. And then she drinks herself to death cause she cant stand the guilt of causing his death. If Binge drinking doesnt say love. I dont know what does.!!!!

There is the Jimmy Buffet song that he calls "A love song, from a different point of view" titled "Why don't we get drunk and screw?". That is one of my favorites.

Duncan Shiek - Phantom Moon
Afghan Whigs - Black Love
Coldplay - Parachutes
that is, if you want sad, lonely music... got me through my breakups, though.
