I'm working on a new story and its original like penciljack suggested. Anyway here we go.

Premise - David F. Winfield, Mayor of Sera City, has been the well respected leader of his city for five years, but now that will all soon change. He was framed for the murder of his close friend and assistant Cinol Druthers by the assistant mayor, Jacquelyn McBride. Now he is on the run from the authorities and the corrupt henchmen of the new Mayor McBride.

Mayor McBride not only takes the office with the most malevolent and sinister ways possible, but she also starts a corrupt administration dealing in drugs, gangs, and evil vices. Now Sera City is slowly falling into a period of decadence with a rising crime and violence rate. Disturbed about the decay of his dear city, Mr. Winfield decided to supplement his mission of vindication with the job of cleaning up his fair streets. Now he has to become an army of one against, a city that hates him, the vices that despise him, and the administration that wants him dead. You know how the saying goes, “You can’t fight city hall”, except if you’re the Heart of the City

Fox, I know it seems I keep going on abt this but pls pls pls SPELL CHECK your work over and over!!

ok...that over with :)

I do like the premise though, nicely done :) Now if he's a fugitive, how wld he b/c a vigilante, one-man army. You need funding, information etc. If the city hates you, then how wld u get all that? There cld be a small band of folks who are his private funders? Then he can hv the conflict of having to do what they ask against his own personal crusade?

just some suggestions and thoughts.

Gah, I need some rest, those were really bad. I fixed them. I'm a really bad proof reader, its like I see words, but view them as something else.

And to your questions.

He has an friend in the new Mayor's administration who can get various things that he needs. This friend was in Winfield's adminstration and some how stayed on for the next mayor.

He also gets money and weapons from the vices he attacks. Like he would take out a drug dealer, then take his money and ammo.

Sounds like a very interesting idea to me. Will he be doing this Punisher-style, wiping out the crime from the city with lethal force or leaving each person unconcious and tied up for the police to find a la Spider-Man? Cinol sounds like the name of the name of some kind of cold medicine or something hehe.

he's not a spiderman type character, just they way he gives out justice is the same. It would be counterproductive to kill his enemies (town residents) if he is trying to make the city better.

I think there would be alot more tension if the story was set during his last year in office and he trying to get reelected. So he would have to balance debates, his actual job, and his night prowling/ investigating.

Like right now whats goin on in our political scene. Imagine if Bush secretly at night went out and broke into a rival candidates hq and set the place on fire! The motivation of the book would be to keep his image clean, take out the liars and conspirators, secure his reelection and help the city.

Just my thoughts
