When people register for penciljack they should be required to read that faq and then take a short quiz on how to post stuff. Seriously.

Strange... I posted a link in this thread to the FAQ and it disappeared...

No, he decided to post it twice, apparently.

Ugh, I hate it when this is the last resort but....here. (http://www.deviantart.com) just upload your work there and post the links in your thread.

I tried to post my artwork on deviant but when I put my art in the space given then the preview pic in it's space in the preview pic shows as my deviant art. Help.

I think your question is best taken up with DeviantArt, AgentDemon. We don't provide support for DA here.

Yes I posted a question there too but they take at least 2 days to answer and I was hoping you wouldn't be such a *** and help me. Forget it "penciljack".

I think the reason PJ suggested you try asking DA is because we don't know the technical aspects of their site since none of us run it...therefore...and this is critical...how the **** should we know what's causing you to have problems with their website?

Many thanks for your kind response. I'm sorry I had a lapse in judgement earlier and didn't bend over backwards and spend my time trying to help you solve a problem that I have no power to deal with and no clue about how to solve. I don't know what came over me.

Don't worry, though, with your cheery demeanor, I'll be sure to bend over backwards to help you in the future.

...Heh. They've got you there, man. There was no reason for the outburst/tantrum.

Did he put those asterisks in himself, or is that actually a three letter offensive word?

[Edit} Looks like he put them in himself

On a related note, my car's alternator isn't working. I'd appreciate your help since my mechanic takes 3 days to fix it. I guess that's too much to ask you ***-***'*. Forget it.

The sad thing is, I could probably help you replace your alternator :(

Thanks for the explaination Terry. I guess it's rare that I've done something that was both inked and painted. Next time I'll post it up in the Color section. Thanks for clearing that up!

:)

forgive me of I offended you penciljack. I just got my scanner and I really want to get my art onto the message board. It sucks I can't just put my art directly on to this site.

I certainly understand that, agentdemon, and I've tried several times in the past to offer free hosting services, but it just costs me too much time, money and sanity.

There are plenty of other free hosting options out there. I'd bet a quick search through this Info forum would turn up several, and I'd bet a few folks are more than willing to offer some advice on that front.

Penciljack.com doesn't endorse any free hosting service, however; they don't tend to stay around long, or if they do, they don't remain free for long. So whatever option you choose, take my advice and be sure you keep hard copies on your local computer. Some folks have lost a lot of stuff when hosting services went under.
