Panel one: A fight ensues, but we are too close up to the action to see who is fighting. We just hear the bone shattering brutallity of it, and see only but a blur of images all against a harsh black. This image is of a red arm with a black, what appears to be a black boxing glove (or mitten), smashing into someones lower jaw.

SFX: Thwack!

Panel two: Also against black. A heavy black boot thumping into somebody's rib cage.

SFX: CRACK!

Panel three: Another blurr of red with black mittens thrashing into someone's gut.

SFX: OOMPH!

Panel four: We now see a person who has been knocked out laying face first on the ground with her arms sprawled out in a crooked unconscious pattern. It appears to be Julie Kingston. There is a light spattering of blood.

Panel five: Solid black panel.

(No dialogues)

Panel six: Suddenly kneeling beside Julie is Scarecrow (A real live walking talking scarecrow). He is guarding his partner and aiming his gun at the mysterious attacker who still resides somewhere off panel.

Scarecrow: FREEZE! You're under arrest!

Page 2

Splash page: We are in a police station looking at a line up. The line up consit's entirely of Santa's. Each Santa Clause is a different shape and hieght. One is even a black man. Suddenly one of the larger Santa's bellows out a Jolly Hohoho.

Santa: Hohoho! Merry Christmas!

Voice 1 (OP): That's the f*#ker there!

Voice 2 (OP): How can you tell?

Voice 1 (OP): Because...He's f*#king annoying me through the glass!

Page 3

Panel one: We witness Scarecrow holding tightly to Julie's waist as she tries to march off in a rage. Julie aparently has a black eye and a bruised lip. There is a third person, a policeman in the room with them also. Behind them, the one way glass onlooking all of the Santa's.

Julie: Ohhh...I'm going to Kill him!

Officer: That's not the Christmas spirit.

Panel two: The officer catches Julie on her temper, she whirls around aiming her fiesty attitude at him. Scarecrow is on backup as always making sure his parnter Julie Kingston isn't too misunderstood.

Julie: Hey, f*#k you Santa's little helper!

Scarecrow: Hey pal, can you just help out a little, she's had a rough night.

Julie: Yeah, why don't you shut the hell up and go arrest the rosey cheeked perp.

Panel three: The office walks out of the room complaining.

Officer: Sure, work the Holidays they said, get paid overtime they said, instead I have to deal with Mrs. Uncle Scroodge. What Grinch stole her Christmas?

Panel four: We watch Julie and Scarecrow from behind, as they are watching through the one way glass as the officer handcuffs the Santa.

Santa: Hoho-ho!!!

Panel five: We see Scarecrow and Julie head on.

Julie: I f*#king hate Christmas time.

Page 4

Panel one: Julie and Scarecrow walk out into the main room of the police precinct. Everyone stops what they are doing and looks over at her.

Scarecrow: Don't feel so badly about it, they'll all forget about it in the morning.

Panel two: Julie and Scarecrow stop in the middle of the room. Everyone still continues to stare.

Julie: Oh for crying out loud Jimminy Cricket, they're all laughing at me! I can hear them... on the inside they're all laughing their asses off.

Panel three: Julie grabs her winter jacket off the back of her desk chair and continues to walk on. We view Scarecrow, who has stopped to delve deeper into consoling his partner.

Scarecrow: At least we caught him right?

Panel four: Scarecrow continues to talk. Julie has walked away.

Scarecrow: I'm sure it's not the first time someones been beat up by Santa. I mean...um...it's...

Julie (OP): Bah-F*#cking Humbug!

Panel five: Scarecrow snatches up his coat and hat in a hurry as he chases after Julie.

Scarecrow: Hey, wait up!

Panel six: Everyone in the office just watches as Scarecrow leaves out the doorway.

(No Dialouges)

Panel seven: After a momentary silence...the entire precint errupts in laughter.

Everyone: Hahahahahaha

Panel one: Julie is wearing a Tommy Hilfiger type winter Jacket which looks big on her. It's white, and she has her hands crammed into her pockets. As she speaks we can see little clouds of her breathe as the weather is cold. Scarecrow has caught up to her and walks along side of her.

Julie: Why do these things always happen to me? I'm mean the beedy eyed freaks living down in Who'ville had it better!

Panel two: They both stop infront of a shop window to look at the Christmas decor.

Scarecrow: Hey, you're the one who insists we work every single holiday.

Julie: Yeah, and how come you've never once tried to talk me out of it?

Panel three: We see Scarecrow fill up with sincere emotion as he talks to his parnter. He closes his eyes as he speaks.

Scarecrow: You're a good cop Julie Kingston, and the best parnter I ever had. Sure the crime rate is up during the holiday seasons.

Scarecrow: I even know that beneath that rough exterior of your's there is a soft loving Julie on the inside. That's why you work so hard, even during Christmas day. You do care, even if you are an old Ebineiser.

Julie: Damn straight! Crime doesn't sleep.

Scarecrow: And you'll always be there...waiting.

Panel four: Julie smiles a big smile.

Julie: Thanks partner! For cheering me up and everything.

Scarecrow: Don't mention it.

Panel five: Julie leans in and kisses a suprised, and overwhelmed Scarecrow.

Panel six: With bright eyes Scarecrow beems with Christmas cheer.

Scarecrow: What was that for?

Julie: For being you. For making me feel good, and hey...It's Christmas after all.

Page 6

Page one: Julie continue's to walk on down the street, as she passes the store entrance, which has now come into sight, we can see a Santa standing out in front ringing a bell for donations. Scarecrow just stands and watches her walk off and thinks to himself.

Scarecrow Caption: It's the best present I ever got. Merry Christmas Julie.

Panel two: Close up of Julie passing by the Santa who rings his bell and shouts with Christmas Cheer. A mother and a small child stop to put money into the Santa's bucket.

BELL: Ding Ding Ding

Santa: Hohoho! Merry Christmas!

Julie: F*#k off you cherry cheeked, red nosed, drunk on egg-nog fat assed wanker.

Panel three: Close up of the kid who starts crying. His mother bends down to console him.

Child: Wahhhhhhhh! Why was the lady mean to Santi-Clause?! Waaaaaaaaa!

Mom: Everythings going to be alright sweety, just ingore the mean lady.

Panel four: Close up of Scarecrow, with a wide grin on his face, who is still watching is partner from a distance.

Scarecrow: And that's why I love her. Even if she did get beat up by Santa Clause.

Julie (OP): I f*#king heard that!

Panel five: A closing shot of a chilly Los Angeles city scape. It's still light out, but nearing evening. In the far distance a silhoutte of Santa and his reindeer fly by.

Caption: Merry Christmas

I always appreciate the tons of comments I get for the effort I put behind my writings, so thanks again for your's friend. I try to make each and every episode of Scarecrow and Julie Kingston as memorable and laugh your ass off funny as the last. Now if only I could find the right artist who's up to the task of matching the humor and raw energy of these characters, then we'd have a number one seller! I know if I get the right artist I could outsell even the mainstream books. That's not a threat, nor challenge, but if any editors are reading this... beware! I have made my promise. I am a member of Blackforest Studios... you know where to find me.
