posting images ?

hey pencil jack i have a question. i know how to link sites for people to view my art but i know people don't always look at links. so my question is how do i get the image to show up here so they can see it with out clicking a link. i know how to do this go to img and type the address hit ok . but it's not working for me i just get the little red x. maybe i'm leaving a step out i don't know or maybe i'm not cookied could u please let me know. i'm dieing to post an image here rather than a link. thanx ahead of time

Best I can tell, you are trying to do an inline image [img] command with an html page, which is not possible. You need to use the url of the image itself, not the html page it is on, if you want to post an inline image. Also, DeviantArt does not allow direct linking of images, unless you pay for their service.

Your best bet would be to buy a web hosting package.
