Not quite sure if people are reading the test plot that I posted. I'm really eager for creative imput and (possibly) some plotting and/or scripting work. That's the only reason I'm posting...but anyway, I'm just that type of a-hole to beginning another thread with material that's already posted on the same page! Ha!
Anyway, if you hadn't read plot #1 yet, please enjoy. I'm still working on the 5-7 pages of script...I got a little crazy with the fight scene (I always over due them) so I'm trying to scale back on it just a little bit.
Plot #1
Coming off of the end of 'Hush', Batman finds himself single-mindedly hunting____________. It's been about four months since this particular hunt began, and because of it, Batman has ignored his duties as a JLA member and has ordered Oracle to tell Nightwing to watch over Gotham in his leave. Batman has ignored even Alfred's attempts to contact him saying, 'I must do this alone. Contact O if you need something." One day, while this has hunt has lead him to India, he is radioed by Oracle through a remote, mobile channel only to be used in the most dire of situations, and informs him that someone has completely trashed the clocktower damaging all of her equipment. They even blocked the corridor running juxtaposed with Gotham transit which leads from the clock tower to the batcave. Aside from that, Gordon has been missing for 7 days now with no clues as to his whereabouts. Alfred is either missing too or he is just ignoring all forms of communication at this point and, last she'd heard, Nightwing has been stuck trying to stop a new rogue 'hero' who has been using excessive force on criminals. 3 people are in the hospital: 1 with internal bleeding, another with a fractured skull and another with his whole left side paralyzed. Even though the hunt is incomplete, his baby calls, his friends need him...he heads back to Gotham without a second thought. Upon arriving back in Gotham, Batman finds both the batcave and Wayne Manor eerily silent, devoid of any life that Alfred would have brought to its' long halls and wide-ceiling rooms. After inspecting to his approval all of his equipment and his mainframe, making sure that nothing had been tampered with, Batman makes a trip to the clocktower, finding no Oracle, 13 million dollars in the form of a destroyed mainframe and just as Oracle had told him--the escape route leading directly to the tunnel leading to the batcave has been blocked. High impact explosives with timers were used and it was done far enough away from the base of the clocktower so as to not compromise its' structure. Batman thinks, 'This was a very meticulously planned attack.' He can't stop himself from remembering a half-hearted joke Oracle said last they'd talked,
"Funny thing is", Oracle says, "I never left my bed. Whoever did this knew the workings of the clocktower in-and-out and didn't want to hurt me in the process...Unless I did it myself sleep walking." Batmans' brow deepens and he begins to worry even more than before. 'I may not be dealing with someone new. Whoever did this knew the machinations of both the batcave and the clocktower.' He hopes that Oracle has made her way to her dads' house and that Gordan is safe with her. However, upon reaching Gordans' house, he realizes that his hopes were in vain because neither Gordan nor Barbara are accounted for. That makes 10 days Gordan's been missing, 7 since last contact with Oracle, 2 months 2 days since last contact with Alfred and he has yet to speak with Nightwing. He begins to get slightly frustrated, 'How could Dick let all of this come about?' he thinks. While taking special care not to disturb anything while leaving, he notices a glare in the far corner of Gordans' kitchen. Closer inspection shows it to be Gordans' glasses with a post-it note attached to it. Reading:
Bruce,
Gotham Cemetary.
11:30.
11:29 Batman arrives @ the cemetary to find an unusual trail leading directly to his parents grave, where he hears an all too familiar voice.
"We need to talk Bruce."
--Check back in a few hours for the 5-7 page cemetary scene (wrestling is on right now--sorry). I may be able to give you the overall plot letting you know who is behind the kidnappings and why...Sorry Sam Spade, I couldn't see it being Scarecrow. I do have another story in mind for him though...but for this one, I needed a somewhat softer villian. You'll understand in a bit. Enjoy.
