As I'm sure you've all already noticed, I've been back for a few days now. I kindly asked Terry if I could have my account back here on PencilJack and he was generous enough to oblige. The reason I'm back is to promote my work. Last week I lost my job and am now trying to make a steady income just from my art so I need all the publicity and promoting I can get. That is why I am here.

As you all also know, I was not the most friendly or easiest to get along with person here on Penciljack before and for that I am truly sorry. I see now how pointless it is to fight over the internet. Nothing that goes on here makes a bit of difference when it comes time to face the real world outside the computer. But I did want to apologize for my actions beforehand and it will not happen again. No more sniping, no more bitching and no more fighting with anyone. If I do happen to say something that offends you, please feel free to pm me and we can discuss it. Like I said above, I'm here to promote my art and that's it.

I wish you all the best of luck with all your creative endeavors and hope you all achieve your dreams.

Dude you have to go where the works at. Selling stuff on ebay or other original art sites just aint gonna do it. You may want to seriously think about moving to a better job enviroment.

speak for yourself, geek. I want everyone to fail miserably in life, (with the exception of myself and close personal friends who, in case i don't make it, i can mooch off of until i'm dead.)

Dash - always the comedian aren't ya? Check your e-mail. I sent you a link to your Cheddar art. Let me know if you need anything changed.

Cover - actually I've been able to make it off my art online for the past year. My job I had was a part-time gig that I did just to get out of the house, so I know I can make it. Sure I'll probably have some hard times here and there, but that is life.

Shane - thanks man. It was nice meeting you at Chicago too. Do you have anymore copies of your book? I'd like to buy one if you do. I just didn't have any money left when I came by your table or else I would've picked up one then.

John - always the optimist. Why is it I always think you are so full of shit it's not even funny? :D

So I take it you've expanded beyond Online sales then and are going the convention route as well? Good deal I hope the best for ya guy. I wish my lazy butt could get cranking but I just can't sustain that level of drawing. And I also hate doing Commissions.

Whatever happened to your bro? Oh by the way, glad you're back. I seriously felt the ;dvl; icon was way underused.

My brother never got a penny from the guy who technically owned the house at the time because he had no insurance. But on a brighter note, we found him a house here in town. He just finished getting the loan for it on Monday and he is going to start redoing the downstairs of it next week. Want to come over and help us tear down some walls? But seriously, he is doing good. Alot of his friends and all of us in the family chipped in together to help buy him new things and my father helped him with the downpayment on the new place so all is well again. He's slowly rebuilding his life. It'll take time, but he's got alot of people backing him.

Thats really good to know. I hope my family would step in like that if I ever have to go through a really tough time.
I actually wouldn't mind helping, but you know you live sooo far away. ;)
Well, kudos on your new start, hope all works out well.

Jeremy - dammit! You were at WizardWorld weren't you. Right beside Shane Peters. Damn, I thought you looked familiar. This sucks. I would've said hi if I had known that was you. :(

Loadasano - well I kinda missed you too...in a none homonsexual kind of way so don't be getting any ideas. :D

cabralsoth - Ah, it's good to know somebody around here will keep me in check. Nice to be back.

xadrian - just think, when cloning becomes legal, we can make copies of me and mail them worldwide! Your own free whipping boy with your paid subscription...that or you could always put me in a life size paper shredder and mail the pieces out individually. Collect all 120,000 pieces to create your own one of a kind JUAN! Whoo hoo!

Hey nice to see you back. It was nice to meet you in Chicago even though you had no idea who the hell I was LOL. I was sitting next to Pauly waiting for you to notice. Well I wish you the best of luck we are ALL gonna need it.

Nope...I was sitting next to Shane Peters. Thinnie was sitting between the Paul of Maybury and the Xadrian.

http://mywebpages.comcast.net/dashmartin/wizcon2003/IMG_1056.jpg ---> Paul Maybury is over there.

MankindRam - Here, I'll test you - am I white or hispanic? LOL... Why didn't you say something to me, man? I would've kicked it with you for awhile. Next time speak up. :p

TheFightingFoetus - pm me the price and I'll get it to you.

Methane - I saw Jeremy when I was standing there watching Shane draw. He was sketching something out too, but I couldn't place where I knew his face from...

Paul M. - FEZ! That's who Paul reminds me of. Fez from That 70's Show...except more girly... LOL... just kidding. Paul's book that I picked up at the show is probably one of the coolest things I own right now. I even showed it to my brothers who dont like comics and they thought it was funny as hell. Now where's the next issue? I'm craving more, dammit!

Juan you looked pretty white to me. I didn't say anything becasue you had handed Dash and envelope with a print he wanted in it. And I had no idea who you were until Paul told me after you left. Lol Next year bro. We can chill next year.

No, that wasn't me, Juan-- and no, Dash, I never sat down in your seat near Shane, as lovely as he is-- though, come to think of it, I remember when you came by our area of the Alley and MankindRam made the "he looks white to me" comment.

Must've just missed ya. Next year, man!

No, I'm wrong, it was by Paul that I saw you, because I was talking to Dash at the time. I met so many people that day and saw so many things and was so ****ing tired from not sleeping the two nights before that I'm surprised I made it through all of that day.

Here's a list of people (from PJ) that I either met or saw while at the show:

Chris Piers, Tony Moore, Nate (Akira X), Paul, Dash, Shane, Franchesco!, Mark Brooks, and Danimation.

Nah, I like ya Paul. If I didn't, I wouldn't of bought a copy of your book to support you. And **** what those publishers said about your art. I love it just the way it is. It's very distinct and Paul Mayburyish...which is a damn good thing.
