I Remember You
I remember my hands were trembling
my voice began to stutter.
I remember getting down on one knee,
Looking up into her eyes...
Tears rolling down her cheeks.
I remember all i could see was her,
My lips parted and out came that which would change all time.
I remember her soft gentle touch,
She spoke with words telling of a future which broke the means of time.
I remember the feeling of a century within a second,
There i would wait for the time to come just to spend the moment with her.
I remeber her smiling down on me,
Like an angel from the heavens.
I remember the meaning and truthfulness in her words,
Then we joined...
I remember two became one...
i remember everything,
I remember you...

I remember the pain in my heart,
The hardest thing to learn is that for all the time thats passed my eyes were never open.
I remember the sinking of my heart,
The words were nothing but hollow lies with candy topping.
I remember the look of love in your eyes,
Washed away with the words "I do"
I remember the truths told,
I did not want to listen...
I remember looking on yet being pulled back in,
My son, my only reason for staying...
I remember needing the love that is now gone,
Looking at others and longing their passion.
I remember the hearts last beat,
My world now stands still...
I remember what i have planned to come,
I can only hope when the time comes to pass...
I can look back and remember that my choice was the right one to make...
