Hey,
I'm continuing work on my own book 'Pants'. I previously posted the first five pages, and here are the next five. I've included a link to the first five pages in case you missed them. And you can view all the pages as well at my website (http://www.geocities.com/artronin9) .

Wow. These are incredible. Consistant art. Your characters look the same from panel to panel. Very impressive.

But there's alot of artwork here. Anything over 3 images, you might want to link the rest of them.

But I'm blown away. Very pro-looking. I'd buy it.

Ok, no real crits from me, except you take too long to bring the sis in. Other than that, I'm big on the story, the humor is well done. Kinda Kevin Smith-y. I'd pick it up if the story keeps up. Your style is slick, and you're not doing the fantasy stuff that usually bores me. Rock on brother.

OMG you 're the same Astronin9 posted X Force, Hellboy, Avengers, MJ and Spidey pages? Your stle is changed a lot . I miss the first thread where you posted the first 5 pages, but let me say your art is really good on these ones. You started to use black spot area and zip tonesand it makes the difference!

Yup, I'm the same guy. I'm trying a slightly different stlye than what I usually go for. Well, this story calls for something a little more cartoony and it gives me a chance to be a little looser. I'm also inking and toning all my own work, which I rarely do. So hopefully it'll help me with my work all around and I'll get some more 'normal' posts up sooner or later, but I'm having a blast working on this book. I'm glad people seem to be enjoying this story so far.

...only thing i'd say is, when the chick left and he was sittin' there with his head on his hands... i expected him to pick up a bottle of baby oil and make his way to the bathroom...

...the monkey at the end though is priceless...
...but i thought the dialogue from the main character was kinda superfluous... we didn't really need to have him say the monkey was wearing a big dumb helmet and a shiny diaper... we're seeing it along with him...

...i think something betraying a more subdued surprise would make for better humor (i assume you're going for humor)... like "hmph... a monkey. that's different." or somethin' silly like that...

...otherwise... i really like the art style and whatnot...

I think "Cool! A monkey!" stands fine on it's own but it's your comic and your sense of humor.

artronin9 - this is some seriously sweet stuff. I like the new style. I liked the style you used on the Mary jane sequential too, but I prefer the one you're using here on this story.

The storytelling and panelwork is top notch. Your dialog is really good too. On the last 2 panels of Page 8, the dialog's a bit stiff and awkward, but other than that, it's really impressive. Good work!
